Come one and all to join us in Monterey's traditional 4th of July parade.

Wearing Peace Peace host country dress, carrying flags, or anything else which makes us look Peace Corps-y is very welcome.

Also welcome: children, family, friends, or anyone who supports the Peace Corps (whether you've served or not)

After the parade join us for a potluck at Jodie's house in Pacific Grove

Time: Wed. July 4th. Meet at 9:00 a.m. (parade starts at 10 and takes an hour or less, parade route is less than a mile)

Location: We are staging on Hartnell St. in the parking lot in front of the Blood Center (medical building across the street from the post office)

We are Entry Number 40

Parking will, of course, be tight with many streets downtown closed. Arrive early to allow time and try parking up Pacific above the library, or up Cass st., or take a bus from Del Monte Center or MPC, or carpool.

Jodie's post-parade 4th of July potluck

from Hwy 68 West, come down Forest and turn left on Sunset, then right on Cedar, then immediately left on Marino Pines. Jodie's cottage and garden is behind house on the street. Bring something yummy to share!
