Come hear Heather Coleman's (El Salvador 08-10) story about her transformation from Municipal Development volunteer to self-defense instructor.
When Heather packed for Peace Corps, she included an unstuffed punching bag. “Just in case,” she said. Heather was certified as a self-defense instructor, but didn’t expect to use those skills until a fellow PCV persuaded her to teach a self-defense workshop at a camp on gender equality for Salvadoran educators.
You can still attend even if you will not be eating. But let us know you are coming!
Dinner will include appetizers, drinks and a main course. Price is $23 or $25 depending on main course. Tax and tip is included in price.
