Fact: We all have amazing stories to tell from our time in the Peace Corps
Fact: People around the Bay Area want to hear these stories, and frequently request speakers for panels, school classrooms, and community events.

Are you interested in sharing your Peace Corps story with the Bay Area community, but shy or worried about your public speaking ability? If so, come to the "Bring a dish, share a story" speaker workshop at NorCal Treasurer Meera Chary's house on Friday November 16th, from 6:30pm - 9pm. Bring a potluck dish (hey, maybe your dish is a part of your story!) to share, and think about what aspects of your Peace Corps experience you might want to share in story-form (no need to prepare anything formal!)

At the event, we'll eat, drink, and share our stories in small and large groups, providing feedback to one another in a supportive and friendly environment. If, at the end of the event, you feel comfortable, we'll add you to our speaker request list, and then we might call on YOU when we get requests for speakers from the community.

Please bring either a main dish, appetizer, or dessert to share. NorCal will provide tasty beverages.

Space is limited to 20 guests, so RSVP by Wed, November 14 and let us know what dish you're bringing so that we can ensure we have enough. We will email exact address info to those who RSVP. Thanks for your interest!
