Beyond Borders
Mar 3 Storytelling Workshop

We all have stories to tell. That’s the Third Goal of Peace Corps, to share with people back home the experiences from our service overseas.  Beyond Borders Storytelling is hosting a storytelling workshop to help people turn those experiences into engaging stories.  The workshop is open to anyone who has a story with an international twist,  not just Returned Peace Corps Volunteers.

This workshop is perfect for those wanting to go that next step and perform before a live audience at the Story Jam in April.
Workshop is FREE to all. Pizza will be provided.  Details and RSVP Info Here>>

Service Day in East Bay

10/26/13 Sat (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
Claremont Middle School
5750 College Ave, Oakland
Contact:Will Spargur (will[at]norcalpca[dot]org)

NorCal is organizing a group of RPCVs for a day of service at Claremont Middle school in Oakland organized by Project Peace (http://www.projectpeaceeastbay.org/)
There will be a myriad of projects that we will be helping with such as fixing up classrooms and grounds work outside. Also it’s Claremont's auction that day, so they need help with set up at the auction site in Uptown Oakland. We can stay at the main site or go help at the auction site.

Following the event we can head over to the World Famous Zachary's Pizza for lunch.

Claremont Middle School is right next to the Rockridge BART.

RSVP Info
If you are interested in helping out please RSVP Will Spargur will[at]norcalpca[dot]org for details on registering. We need at least 7 volunteers.
