One night before Halloween, October 30, nearly 50 returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs), family and friends skipped the World Series and packed Extreme Pizza in SF to listen to seven talented RPCV storytellers recount scary stories of service. Our storytellers worked hard developing and practicing their stories for a month before stepping in front of the mic. And it was obvious from the laughs and applause that the audience appreciated their dedication.
Kseniya Fenner, RPCV Ukraine 2010-2012, summed it up nicely, “This is my favorite Peace Corps event!”
Miss the event or just want to relive the moment? Check out our Flickr and Youtube pages. Thanks to Bryan Lemos for his photography and Alan Toth for video.
Next Slam Series starts Nov 7 in Palo Alto
