What We Do

Events & Member Support/Networking
You can join NorCalPCA at an upcoming event in your area to connect with fellow RPCVs, meet new friends, network, or just if you’re interested in learning more about Peace Corps!

Grants
NorCalPCA approved funding for two projects totaling $2,000 in 2023! We are able to support projects abroad thanks to generous donations to our grants program from NorCalPCA members plus family and friends. Recommend your favorite community development project for a NorCalPCA grant!

Volunteering
NorCalPCA members actively continue the tradition of service stateside after returning home. Opportunities to get together and give back arise frequently, both within the association and with organizations that we partner with outside of the association. Check our events calendar to see what volunteers are organizing this month, or connect with us if you have ideas on service opportunities in your community!

Advocacy
You can make a difference! Join NorCalPCA’s advocacy efforts to help and improve funding for the Peace Corps and advocate for changes in how Peace Corps serves its volunteers.

Third Goal Programs
We partner with our local Peace Corps office and the National Peace Corps Association to offer opportunities to share your Peace Corps experience with others through programs such as Global Connections or at one of the many events we host throughout the year.
