We’ll work under the guidance of State Park rangers and Park Volunteer Coordinators for a morning of invasive plant removal to improve habitats for the endangered Smith’s Blue Butterfly and other park inhabitants!
Where: Fort Ord Dunes State Park, an activity sponsored by CA State Parks Foundation & State Parks Natural Resources Team.
Meeting location: Fort Ord Dunes State Park main parking lot (end of 8th Street in Marina)
Around noon, we’ll relax and have a BYO lunch at the picnic table area. Bring your own sandwich and drink. Bringing something to share is optional.
